Private Memorial Glass Workshop – Fused Glass Class

Create your own fused glass & photo memorial suncatchers (2) in this beginner-friendly glass art class in Hillsborough, NC in an intimate and private setting.

Have some quiet time to yourself (or have a friend join you) as you design and assemble one-of-a-kind 4” x 6” fused glass memorial suncatchers of your loved one using colorful sheet glass, frit, and stringers. If you have ashes, you can bring a small sample and we will integrate it into the suncatchers as well.

You can create up to two suncatchers during this class. Send us your beloved's picture(s) ahead of time and we will print it to fuse into your suncatcher! 

This relaxed workshop is perfect for beginners—no prior glass experience needed. You’ll be guided through the basics of glass cutting, simple design techniques, and how glass transforms in the kiln. During class, you’ll create your suncatchers, and it will be kiln-fired afterward. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup 14 days after class.

This class is a great choice if you’re looking for a way to celebrate a loved one, a creative activity in Hillsborough, a thoughtful handmade gift, or a fun way to explore glass art in a welcoming, intimate setting.

This private class is for 1-2 people at your discretion, keeping in mind only 2 total suncatchers will be made. Please increase the quantity (add one for 3-4 people total, two for 5-6 people total, etc) if you have more than 2 people or would like additional pieces.
